Be a friend of The Chadderton with the PTA
The PTA is an active and thriving association which forms an important part of school life for Chadderton families. They are responsible for arranging an array of events throughout the year, discos, the parent ball, and the Sponsored Wheels Day, where children complete laps of the school playground to earn sponsorship money. The proceeds from these events are used to purchase additional resources for the school.
The PTA committee is made up of a group of parents and organises events that enable parents, teachers and children to socialise, have fun and raise money in the process. It is a social committee and does not have the ability to influence school policy.
As a parent you can also make an invaluable contribution to the life of the school through our Friends Association. Numerous fun, creative and challenging events are scheduled throughout the school year and all parents are encouraged to participate.
There are lots of ways to become involved with the PTA. We welcome new committee members, and invite parents to come along to support our events – we always appreciate extra pairs of hands! And if you have any suggestions for future events or fundraising ideas, please get in touch. You are very welcome to approach committee members about any aspects of the PTA.
We’d love to hear from you!
