Years 5 and 6 have been researching inspirational women as part of their work on Inspirational Women's Day. They looked at Rosa Parks, Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale and Jacinda Ardern. We talked about their fight for equality and their impact on our lives today. We also talked about the women that we knew and why they were important to us. We are hoping that in future years we will be celebrating a gender-equal world that is free from stereotypes and discrimination of any kind.
