Flourishing in the Early Years department

From an early age, your child will flourish at Little Gems Nursery. We pride ourselves on our experienced staff, who make sure that all children in their care are attended to and constantly engaged and stimulated by the activities of the day.

We use the government guidelines, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), as a framework within which we provide care and education for the children who are aged four years and under. There’s lots of fun and educational activities for the children to do in Early Years and it gives them a fantastic foundation in their educational career. We have a friendly and welcoming environment where your child will feel at home. You will have peace of mind, knowing that your child will be happy, safe and encouraged.

You should arrange a visit so that you can see for yourself happy children who are playing, learning and developing in the Early Years stage. It will also give you the opportunity to meet the team.

Wrap around care, starting with Breakfast Club and finishing with a healthy snack in the after school club is available for those who need it. We believe our pupils’ education is a partnership between the school, the parents and the children, and we work hard to foster this relationship. The outcome is happy, contented children, who are motivated to learn.

Delicious and nutritious school meals are prepared daily by our on-site cook who provides menus that will give your child a healthy and balanced diet.
