It’s the end of a busy and exciting week in Reception. This week we have been busy carrying on with our learning around Jack and the Beanstalk. This week we have been focusing on sequencing the story, painting characters from the story, making our own models and beanstalks to accompany our own versions of the story and so much more.  
Thursday saw our school over run with chimney sweeps, suffragettes and even a guest appearance from Mary Poppins herself.  The children enjoyed a variety of activities including baking biscuits, designing and making kites, creating their very own chalk drawings, singing their own versions of suffragette songs and taking part in Mary Poppins themed games in the hall. The children had a fantastic day and enjoyed all the activities and thank you for all the effort with their costumes
